Aledo's Dillon Davis threw a 9-yard touchdown pass to Jeffery Carter with 1:24 remaining to give the state's top-ranked 5A team a 41-36 win over Colleyville Heritage. Davis passed for 336 yards and four touchdowns. Cam Roane threw for 323 yards and four TDs for Colleyville Heritage.

Jonathan McGill, Coppell
Sophomore Jonathan McGill intercepted a pass on the first play of overtime, then scored the winning touchdown on a four-yard reception in double overtime to give Coppell a 28-21 win over Hurst L.D. Bell. Brady McBride threw three touchdown passes for Coppell.

Arlington Martin, Princeton
In a matchup of area-ranked 6A teams, No. 9 Arlington Martin forced six turnovers on the way to opening a 43-0 lead in a 55-7 rout of No. 17 Skyline. ... Keyshawn Woodfaulk ran for 113 yards and three touchdowns to power Princeton to a 42-27 win over Celina, the state's seventh-ranked 4A team.

Duncanville-Plano East and TCA-Addison-Denison
In the final 59 seconds, Duncanville put together a 70-yard scoring drive and beat Plano East 36-32. Offensive lineman Justin Smith recovered a fumble in the end zone for the winning TD. ... Court Walker threw for 393 yards and seven TDs and ran for two scores as TCA-Addison beat Denison 63-61.

Cody Thomas kicked a 25-yard field goal as time expired to give Wylie East a 24-21 win over Rockwall-Heath. Rockwall-Heath had tied it at 21 on Tyrus Fort's 25-yard touchdown run with 9:41 remaining. Eno Benjamin ran for 156 yards for Wylie East.
