Richardson Pearce's Drew Timme

What he did: After scoring 27 points in Pearce's 84-37 rout of Molina on Tuesday, Timme recorded one of the area's most clutch shots of the week on Friday vs. Richardson, hitting a buzzer-beating runner in overtime to for a dramatic 71-69 victory. Timme had 31 points in the win on top of 12 rebounds and 8 assists.

Who he is: At 6-10 and 225 pounds, Timme, a senior, is an ESPN Top 100 recruit in the Class of 2019 and will be playing for Gonzaga starting next school year after inking his commitment during the early signing period. Timme is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite and is nationally the No. 10 rated center in his class. He is also rated the No. 5 2019 prospect in the state.

The stats: Timme entered the week ranked No. 5 in points per game and No. 1 in rebounds (total and per game) among all area players, checking in as the only player with more than 300 total rebounds on the season. He bolstered his stats with a combined 58 points and 26 rebounds this week.

He said it: "It was a crazy fun game [vs. Richardson]. My teammates were a huge boost after a tough third. At the end of the game, I was able to get in the right spot and hit the shot. It was "this one was it." I do that shot a lot, and the next thing I knew, the entire student mob was around me. It was a moment I'll never forget."

Coach said it: "He had a great game. We had a great start then we lost some [momentum] but he hit the big shot and then we won. He had a triple-double with four or five blocks and the play of the game .... We drew up the play out of a timeout and he hit the shot.

"[His rebounding] has been huge since we're somewhat undersized beyond him. We rely on him defending the boards and he was great the whole game. He has a high motor and attacks the glass well." -- Marc Johnson
